With a surfer’s chill and a skater’s abandon, Paddlefish has been charming local audiences. Drawing on influences like early Joe Jackson, Dinosaur Jr, The Modern Lovers, The Breeders, and Guided By Voices, this trio of high schoolers aren’t old enough to drive, yet they are one of the most talked about bands on the Springfield music scene.
Owen Misterovich, guitar and vocals; Blake Nieman, bass; and Anthony Clark, drums; have known each other since elementary school and formed Paddlefish in early 2015. Their first EP, Lidsville, shows their laid back vibe and wonky charm.
